During his childhood, Jim spent summers at his family's farm in Buckingham County, Virginia, with his paternal grandmother, Bessie Crews. This experience fostered his enduring interest in land, gardening, agriculture, forestry, and outdoor activities. Jim has deep roots in Buckingham County tracing his family as far back as 1758. His paternal grandparents purchased Stoney Point Farm in 1920, and this property is still in the family today. Jim and his son JD presently manage the operation as Crews Family Farms, maintaining a herd of 400 registered Black Angus cattle. Jim is married to Jill Cherry Crews and enjoys family time, farming and ranching, wildlife conservation, training bird dogs, hunting bobwhite quail and waterfowl, fishing, and horseback riding. Jim is passionate about land and is available to meet with you for a free consultation regarding any real estate needs, whether you're considering selling or buying land. Jim has always believed in hard work ethic, integrity, and proven results. Contact Jim today on (804) 338-9932 and let him put his knowledge and experience to work for you!
“Jim knows land firsthand—he lives and works on it every day.”
